Mission Statement

Common Denominator partners with NYC schools and coordinates cohorts of volunteer tutors, who teach math to underserved middle-school students one-on-one.

Beyond teaching math, we aim to create connections, build bridges and open horizons, so that our students may grow more confident and increase their chances of having better lives as adults.
