It Takes The Collective Power of Many Ones To Make A Difference!
It all began with wildfires in Canada that turned the sky orange and produced apocalyptic images cloaking the Empire State Building and other New York landmarks.
But you couldn’t tell from the celebration occurring at Chelsea Piers, The Lighthouse on Thursday, June 7th, 2023.
Friends and Family of Common Denominator came out in droves, armed with the Power of One to support our Cause.
WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EVENING OF CELEBRATION!
On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Common Denominator hosted our biggest fundraiser of the year the “Power of One” Gala. The event was hosted at the stunning Chelsea Piers, The Lighthouse on the scenic Hudson River, from 5:30-9:30 PM. We were thrilled to have William D. Cohan, New York Times five-time bestselling author, as our honoree. This highly anticipated event brought together a diverse network of professionals, educators, student families, and supporters of Common Denominator. Our signature event included a cocktail hour, followed by a seated dinner, silent auction, live music, fun, and festivities. All proceeds from the event went towards expanding the reach of our free math tutoring program. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause to help positively impact the lives of even more in-need middle school students in New York City.
