Our goal is to raise $8,000, which would cover the costs for 18 students to get free 1:1 tutoring for the full school year.

How Your Donation Helps

In March 2020, Common Denominator launched a virtual tutoring solution, connecting our tutors and students with minimal disruption to the tutoring calendar amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

With your help, we can continue to help struggling middle school students improve their math proficiency.

Your donation would cover program costs, including rewards for students. A single donation of $20 provides 2 hours of free tutoring — $440, for the full school year.

About Common Denominator

In the 2019-2020 academic year, donors helped to provide more than 5,100 hours of free math instruction. And yet, that was not enough to meet the growing local student demand across New York City locations.

C/D does more than math — we instill greater confidence, facilitate valuable mentorships, and provide a fun and safe learning environment for our NYC youth. The demand is great, but our resources are limited. Please support our cause.
