An inspiring group of young leaders among us
The Associate Board is a dynamic group of diverse young professionals serving as ambassadors and advocates for Common Denominator. Committed to the cause of empowering young children through math and mentorship, the Associate Board pledges to promote the work of C/D among their professional and social networks to support the advancement goals of the organization.
Past Associate Board initiatives have included:
Tutor recruitment
Securing grants and in-kind donations through networks
Creating additional fundraising initiatives, e.g. hosting Trivia Nights, Spin Nights
Hosting outings for our students, e.g. Breakfast & Bagels, trips to the Museum of Math
Coordinating student intake, assessment & graduation days
Hosting Happy Hours for tutors
Associate Board members also lend their professional skill sets to our organization such as legal work/advice, research analytics, and consulting.
